Euclid's Elements

I am still in the process of writing a geometry book for adolescent practiioners, and I was thinking about Euclid’s Elements this morning. I have taught and worked through Book I many times, and I have perused parts of his other books, but never thoroughly worked through them. Maybe I should. Perhaps if I do one proposition a day, starting over again from Book I, and record it in a really nice notebook, that would be cool. I feel like I haven’t discovered too much math, I’ve been more focused on teaching these last many years, and I kind of miss the “doing” of math. There is more I want to do, but I am not in the habit anymore of doing math regularly. Perhaps Euclid would be a good place to start. Perhaps….
